John McKenzie

“I first met John McKenzie back in 1980 or thereabouts when I saw him playing with Morrissey-Mullen and promptly hired him to play bass on some of the first recordings I produced, including my early 80’s SunPalace tracks. Since that time we have become firm friends and musical associates.” – Mike Collins

John also plays excellent guitar: “I will never forget seeing John McKenzie play a ‘blinding’ finger-style solo on my Yamaha nylon-strung guitar which he had borrowed for an Annabel Lamb recording at Master Rock Studios in Kilburn many moons ago!”
